Product description:

The Cd vacuum distiller refers to a metal distillation furnace.

The crude Cd that contains Sb, Cu, Fe, Tl, Ni and other impurities is heated and melted in the melting pot. The melted crude Cd that is sucked into the Cd vacuum distiller (Cd VDF) crucible through vacuum pipeline is to add the reduced crude cadmium containing impurities such as lead, copper, iron, thallium, nickel and other impurities to the melting furnace for melting, and then feed it into the crucible of the vacuum distillation furnace through the vacuum pressure tube. Under the conditions of high temperature and vacuum, the low-boiling point Cd liquid inside the VDF passes through the distillation tray and vaporized; the low-boiling point Cd vapor that rises along the tray to the condenser is condensed into the refined Cd liquid that is sucked into the holding pot. The refined Cd liquid is take out of holding pot and cast into ingot manually or automatically. The high boiling point impurities contained by crude Cd are left in the VDF crucible as liquid slag. When the impurities like Pb, Tl and Cu reach to certain quantity, those impurities have to be removed.
